🙈 I was looking to build a kit from an #OHS2026 workshop I didn't manage to go to. Found it only in US online stores, with shipping being more expensive than the kit itself. But it was at Open Hardware Summit, so it should be available, right?
Went searching and searching, finally found the git repo, go find the license -> CC-NC (Non-Commercial). Which isn't open-source per definition. @oshwassociation is pretty specific about that one even (https://oshwa.org/resources/open-source-hardware-may-and-must/)
I'm not even mad. Just a bit disappointed. Or maybe I just worry about stuff like that too much. Hmm.
