The documentary “No Land for Nobody” examines political and social developments in Germany:

A resurgent right-wing populism is shaping the discourse.

Refugee movements and migration are increasingly being criminalised, and humanitarian aid is coming under pressure.

Leading experts analyse the shift to the right and debunk political myths.

Europe is putting up walls – in the midst of a humanitarian catastrophe.

The documentary “No Land for Nobody – The Isolation of an Immigration Nation” highlights the drastic consequences of Europe’s isolationist policies and Germany’s role in this paradigm shift.

The documentary “No Land for Nobody” follows a rescue mission in the Mediterranean, shows the catastrophic conditions in refugee camps and gives a voice to people who have survived the life-threatening journey to Europe.

At the same time, the film examines political and social developments in Germany: a resurgent right-wing populism is shaping the discourse.

Refugee movements and migration are increasingly being criminalised, and humanitarian aid is coming under pressure.

Germany repeatedly sets the tone here, and Europe follows suit.

Through exclusive interviews with academics, policymakers and activists, “No Country for Nobody” challenges the current narratives on flight and migration and sheds light on the mechanisms through which fear and populism shape the political agenda.

How did it come to this? And what alternatives are there to a Europe that is increasingly closing itself off?

Post-screening discussion with the  @fluechtlingsrat_berlin  Berlin Refugee Council and  @seawatchcrew  Berlin.

Please spread the word.

Come along in large numbers.
