Is it just me or do #Debian really not make it all that easy to find and download ISOs for older but still supported versions? You seem to end up in a maze of twisty web pages none of which actually point to download links (or lead to the current “stable” instead) and I only found what I needed via a web search. 🙃

(I do need oldstable because current stable has “too new” versions of some supporting packages for the current version of the specific software that I need to install.)

@soya666 Thanks, I did manage to find what I needed via a web search (but not via that specific page). I was more just having a general (and small) grumble about how if you navigate through the Debian website to try to find the (older version) download pages/links, it always seems to be rather harder than you might expect… 😕

@davecykl You could think about it from the other side: Do Debian deliberately make it hard to accidentally download the installer for old versions (even if they are still supported)?

I mean, yeah, probably.

That said, if you manage to find the "releases" page, linked as "Release Info" on the footer of most pages, you're most of the way there.
