@Gh0stlyM0use @dyckron I see it differently. My view is that Keating’s reforms were part of a difficult but necessary modernisation of the economy, and it’s worth asking what direction Australia might have taken if he had been given another term instead of a change to Howard.
How much better do you think Australia would have been if Keating had continued that agenda for another term, rather than the shift we got under John Howard, which in my view marked the start of the real rot in policy direction?
