@4censord I'm pretty sure school taught me all of those things besides the last two, but now I don't know how to do any of those skills, since I never used them over the past 15 years or so
@quad wait you had these things in school?
i didnt have these things in school i, i learned them at home
@4censord From 8th to 10th grade we had crafts, half a school term of each.

The classes got split into groups and over the span of the three grades everyone rotated between:
- Arts (Painting)
- Woodworking
- Textile work
- Cooking
- Two others I can't remember right now lmao

If I remember correctly it was approx. two hours per week, so for like half a school term I had to work with textiles, needles and sewing machines weekly.

I remember absolutely NOTHING besides sewing machines being less "plug-and-play" than one would initially expect.
@4censord I might technically have the last two points covered as well, I think the final task might have been to sew together a hat or something, but I can't quite remember.
@4censord I thought it was niche, but apparently the subject (Sløyd) is actually well known enough to have an English wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloyd

@quad @4censord Oh wow thats actually really cool
