Hmm, when did KTLA become FOX, or have they always been FOX? I guess not posting to that station anymore. #ktla #fauxnews
@ai6yr They definitely haven't *always* been Fox. But it may have been for a while now. I think the Wikipedia entry will go into ownership history.
@meganL Grrrr
@ai6yr I will always remember what Triumph the Insult Comic Dog said about Fox local (as opposed to national). https://youtu.be/YILN9JuyLZI?si=PK12iFFTa0olTY7E&t=157

@ai6yr What the hell?
The same company now owns San Diego’s CBS, Fox and CW affiliates, plus KUSI. Now what?

Nexstar on Thursday closed a $6.2 billion acquisition of Tegna, which owned the local CBS 8 affiliate and The CW.

@ChuckMcManis @ai6yr I knew they were owned by Nexstar. I didn't realize they had rebranded it as Fox
@ai6yr When/where did you see that? When I tune in now (over the air) I still see the same old KTLA branding. It would surprise me if they adopted the Fox branding as KTTV and KCOP are owned by Fox. Though perhaps it’s something related to the World Cup which Fox is broadcasting this year as that timer seems to coincide with when it starts.
@ai6yr I seem to recall them being an NBC affiliate. I even watched KTLA when I was a child via satellite. I very well could be wrong, but I support your suspicion.
