"Sandstorm" would go on to peak at #36 on the following week's chart (July 10, 2001) before falling off on July 17, 2001.

"Sandstorm" was a song that we had been hearing on Seattle's KNHC 89.5 FM for a while before including it on the chart. We liked the song, but it had been out for a while before we started the AeschTunes Top 40.

If not for that, I suspect that "Sandstorm" would have had a stronger showing on our chart. This is a song that's gone on to become a dance classic, though, and we still enjoy it 25 years later.
