After a few years running #Jellyfin as a one size fits all for audio and video, I spent a few hours moving all my music to #Navidrome.
Seems light and fast, and works very well with #Symfonium on android.

@avmakt Same here. It’s been running here for months without any problems on Android with Symfomium and on Linux with #Feishin It’s really fast and I haven’t had a single interruption so far when I’m on the go.

@avmakt I tried Navidrome and its own interface was so terrible I just stayed with Jellyfin. BUT it's clearly better at dealing with music metadata, so I'm tempted to go back.

Do you use a Linux client at all? Anything good out there? (Already using Symfonium on Android.)

@avmakt oh, the comment above mine loaded when I hit post, and I see the Feishin rec. I'll have to try that!
@alisynthesis
No, I don't really listen to music from my desktops. Was lucky to get a #walkman in the early 80s, and still prefer portable devices and listening to albums from beginning to end =)
@avmakt thank you for this post! I was not happy with music handling on Jellyfin, installed Navidrome and am testing it currently. Seems to do the job way better, thanks!
