@ancientjames I was so surprised at the results, I had to pause a few seconds to understand why anyone would answer 1908. And then I realized.

Then I tried the very same test in my head in my own language (French) and came with the opposite answer. So maybe it's because english is not my first language? In french, no one would use "end of 1900s" to say 1992, we would use "end of the 20th century". Isn't that the same for you?

@RachelC_Y I thought there would be a clearer bias to one or the other.
@RachelC_Y @ancientjames Not in general, but we use "the late 1900s" to make people born in the 20th century feel old, and yes it works - I feel old!
