In a non-condescending way: I wonder how much extra capacitance the wires themselves add. Most of these caps are like 20% tolerance, so I'm certain it absolutely doesn't matter. I am curious from a purely technical level, however. I'm not sure one could even measure it with normal bench tools.
@MuseumJoe I tried measuring with my bm867 and not getting any difference (discharged the cap with a resistor between readings). Probably need proper equipment for that!
