Imagine for a moment
That you are a jellyfish
That you trail long, beautiful, protective tentacles with you wherever you go
And yet you simply ride the current.

The water is warm, though your perception is only that of equilibrium and not warmth
The air is still, though your perception is only that of equilibrium and not stillness
For the water surely inhales,
Exhales
And you along with it
Inhales,
Exhales,
Between continents

Without discursive considerations or liberal moralisms or analytical consciousness there is
Only
The perception
Of equilibrium.
