Lemme sketch ya something:
- Applied for a job in Feb
- Interviewed for job in Feb, essentially a week after applying
- Second interview a week after. Verbal agreement to send Statement of work and other such fun paperworky things within 3 days.
What follows is three MONTHS of unanswered emails, promises that "the boss is really busy but DOES really want to work with me" from the only employee I can reach on Slack.
Boss has a Calendly. Figured I'd book some time on their calendly as that is where one keeps their availability current, except they email me minutes before the starting time telling me they need to reschedule because their Calendly autoaccepts. of course, no rescheduling time is provided. I asked for one over email. Out of the 8 emails I have sent over the last 3 months, one got answered, and only after I had the coworker ping boss. Twice.
Why am I doing all this, in spite of all the red flags that I am very much aware of?
