I received my work schedule yesterday (see yesterday’s quoted post), which is the only odd thing that has happened to me so far — the delayed schedule.
I have 42 hours this week, 84 hours next week (which is going to suck), and then 20 hours the following week.
To my surprise, I am not one of the people who have been laid off.
I am a full-time salaried employee. The last time anyone used a title to define me, I was called a “Consumer Content Administrative Manager.” Long hours are not exactly unusual, but it has been a while since they have been this extreme. Next week is not going to be fun.
My supervisor was laid off before today, and I honestly do not know who is above me anymore. My last review and more recent communication all seem like canned, automated replies.
Meta feels broken.
