A small cross from the Nidderdale Museum, Pateley Bridge, #NorthYorkshire Caption: A stone cross inscribed "Cross of St Ceadda" (Chad) dating from the 10th or 11th century was found at Middlesmoor. Chad was a prominent 7th-century #AngloSaxon monk. He was an abbot, Bishop of the Northumbrians and then Bishop of the Mercians and Lindsey People.

@edintone Just popping in to say that Nidderdale is one of the few vacation trips we took outside London during our decade there, and it's good to see it's mention here.
