Over 75% of the world’s food crops need pollinators.

Yet, bee populations have dropped globally over recent decades due to:

🔸 habitat loss
🔸 climate change
🔸 excessive use of pesticides

Our fertiliser plan promotes healthier ecosystems, which are essential for bees’ survival.

On this #WorldBeeDay, we urge governments, organisations and citizens to help save these precious creatures.

We need to keep our bees busy and well!

@EUCommission the European commission is memeing on me and I'm not complaining.

Who is responsible for pesticide regulation in the EU?

Hey thanks for the comment, @Spirit! 💜
As for your question: EU regulation passes through our main regulating bodies, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council. That said, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) assesses the safety of pesticide active substances and residues and provides scientific advice that underpins this regulatory process.
