@ProPublica This just goes to prove what we already knew, that govt loves industry money more than it loves cops. People in uniform are props, not real people as far as they're concerned. Even the wealthiest police union has nowhere near the money any gun-maker does. The pretence of concern must be made, but as we see here, the follow-through will be absent. Those who help enrich gun-makers will be rewarded and only minimally held to the law. Those who die as a result, oh well, what can you do.
