I need wide angle lens for my Mamiya RB67 and I found one, it's the only option in my country but it's in different city and it's really expensive going there but buying it blindly is risky, guy who repaired my camera says these lenses are tricky to repair 🥺 what should I do?

@quite1enough I guess the only way to be sure would be to go there and check it out in person. But if not, agree a return policy of some kind (likely for fault rather than just dislike), and maybe get them to demonstrate whatever it is that worries you, over some video connection? Other than that, assess the price against the risk. If it's too risky for you, wait for the next one!

@carusb @daniele_Hesse they most likely have typical for my region return policy of two weeks which might be problematic since I might not be able to shoot-develop-scan film within this period (either bcs of health issues or other reasons), also most likely I have to pay for delivery back and forth if I'll need to return, so the issue is all that sums up in price quite a lot :c I just currently trying to find someone who can drive me to that city or something like that
