Living in periphery-Finland I formed some human-forward opinions on quantity vs quality.

The whole town was 100k people, but 40k of them were highly trained engineers, scientists, students and other researchers. You had to be really careful saying things at the bar because everyone knew each other.

Making an impact on 3 people in that down would sometimes send you into a couple weeks as a local celebrity.
