"The Trump Justice Department has expanded the just-announced settlement of Trump's IRS lawsuit to include a pledge that the IRS will no longer pursue *any* claims it may have against Trump, his family members, and his companies over unpaid taxes."

"The US hereby FOREVER BARRED & PRECLUDED from prosecuting or pursuing any & all claims, counterclaims, causes of action... presently known or unknown that have been or could have been asserted [against Trump, family & companies] out of Lawfare or any matters currently pending or could be pending before Defendants / agencies / departments.

...not limited to tax crimes. It extends to every part of Trump's record ever investigated."

When peaceful change is impossible, violent revolution is inevitable, to paraphrase JFK.

Trump is making it impossible for a court of law to try to restore justice for crimes committed. So if society decides it needs justice, it's going to be both extra-judicial and likely violent.

Donny doesn't care - he's old, demented, and will die off from natural causes in a few years. But for rest of them, they should consider moving to someplace safer like Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

@grumble209 My thought, too. They're not understanding that judicial intervention already is the compromise.

Some have forgotten that Trump has an "expires by" date on his influence: he'll die off, or he'll leave office. After that, he's just another asshole with a checkbook and a fan club.

"Be nice to those you meet on the way up because you will meet them on the way down." isn't wisdom in Trumpland.
