Droppiefollowing more fedi-chat last night about the woeful state of abc news' #rwnjery, with peeps mentioning bailng out to #sbs at 7pm instead, i fired up my SBS tab & dry-ran its Live streaming, to ensure a smooth run at tonight's 7pm slot. though i use SBS #OnDemand quite often [for which sadly an account has been needed for years, grrr], it's a pretty long time since i tried just its Live stream. i was a bit shocked that i could not get it to work unless i also logged in just for it. has my crappy memory let me down again? -- i thought they used to make #Livestream freely available sans-login? have i mis-remembered?
John Smith@MsDropbear42 I don't know. I can't remember ever streaming it live. I watch it on the rabbit eared tv. I'm permanently logged in for streaming sbs on-demand though so that would probably cover the live stuff too. I guess.
@MsDropbear42 Having complained a bit about some of the hopeless reporting on ABC I need to give compliments where due too. Stephanie Boris did a good job on the ABC radio this morning drawing attention to the mis and disinformation about taxation changes being circulated by the tax dodging spongers (my words not hers).
