It’s sweet, and yet it isn’t. #zerolabs is a new Munich beer with no alcohol or sugar. It tastes a bit like a non-alcoholic Augustiner, but without the lemony finish. And yet, in its “baby” bottle (0.33 L), Zero Labs Futura Hell comes across as sweet. If you take a whiff, it smells of almost nothing

If you also think about the labels of other (traditional) beers, then Zero Labs is something else entirely.

It’s different, but interesting. But is it really a beer? At the first sip, I spontaneously thought of a Belgian #Hoegaarden, but I was way off. It lacks everything needed to even come close

It’s not supposed to, anyway. But it is a little crazy to brew a beer that contains no additives and does without alcohol and sugar.

Did you know there’s sugar in beer? Hops, alcohol, etc.—sure. But anyway, I knew it had a lot of carbs, which means sugar too.

Bottom line: cool experiment. Taste-wise, Zero Labs is very light, and the label is kind of ’80s and not that great. It’s drinkable, and maybe it’s something for after a workout?
