“Quello che vedo è che c’è un inasprimento del comportamento dei militari israeliani, soprattutto in mare. L’anno scorso, quando hanno abbordato noi, ci hanno puntato i mitra addosso, hanno fatto manovre repentine e pericolose ma, una volta a bordo, ci hanno trattato con rispetto. Questa volta sono molto aggressivi. Una barca, Sirius, è stata speronata“. Lo ha raccontato Carlo Alberto Biasioli, attivista della Global Sumud Flotilla e skipper dell’imbarcazione Morgana che partecipò alla spedizione umanitaria della scorsa estate, intervistato dalla vicedirettrice de il Fatto Quotidiano, Maddalena Oliva (qui la diretta integrale).
Nel corso della diretta è stato mostrato un fermo immagine dello speronamento: “Vedete che l’imbarcazione dell’esercito è in metallo – ha detto Biasioli – quella della Flotilla è in vetroresina, e quindi è a rischio di distruzione. I volontari, come si vede benissimo, hanno le mani in alto. Questo comportamento è assolutamente illegale“.

What I see is that there’s an escalation of the behavior of the Israeli military, especially at sea. Last year, when they boarded us, they pointed their machine guns at us, performed sudden and dangerous maneuvers, but once on board, they treated us with respect. This time they are much more aggressive. A boat, the Sirius, was rammed.
That’s what Carlo Alberto Biasioli, an activist with the Global Sumud Flotilla and skipper of the vessel Morgana, which participated in last summer’s humanitarian expedition, told Maddalena Oliva, the vicedirector of *Il Fatto Quotidiano* (here the full live interview).
During the live interview, a still image of the ramming was shown: “You see that the military vessel is made of metal – said Biasioli – the Flotilla vessel is made of fiberglass, and therefore is at risk of destruction. The volunteers, as you can clearly see, had their hands up. This behavior is absolutely illegal.”
