@SummerS This sound really interesting! What a wonderful day!

I ask myself whether the hospitals in #Ireland would appreciate this.

I'm convinced that everybody needs a furry friend and vice versa!

I believe that the children would be more healthy with a real pet in their life.

In 2022, we - a small family of four people and three cats - moved from Germany to Ireland. It all started with a stray cat that we gave food to because he was so skinny and pushy. He jumped against our kitchen window at night. The next day, three or four more cats turned up at our door wanting to be fed. And more and more came. One of them brought us her three kittens that had just been born. They grew up in our new home. Many cats were born and are still alive but we have also lost many. It was a difficult time until we have neutered/spayed them all. Now we have 16 cats who live with us regularly. We have three ill cats with special care and dieting needs. Please help us to help. @FurryAges I agree with you 100%! When it comes to hospitals and institutions, there are often a lot of hurdles that need to be jumped. And not everybody, including in the US, understands the value of cat specifically. Which is unfortunate because I think they make better therapy pets than dogs do, especially for people who are huge cat lovers.
