Let's just all be very clear about one thing: Being an asshole is not correlated with age. Plenty of 20-year-old assholes around, plenty of 80-year-old assholes around. You know how I know this? I got older. And most people who were assholes at 20 are still assholes at 50. But it's of course really easy and convenient for 80-year-olds to imagine that only young people are assholes. And it's equally attractive for 20-year-olds to imagine that only old people are assholes. And they are all wrong! The percentage of assholes seems to be constant from generation to generation. Same with the percentage of idiots. Same with the percentage of murderers, presumably. People of all ages are dumb, shitty, evil, nice, supportive, vindictive, etc. Get it in your fucking heads. #psa
