What do you Think of Anime?

The other day I started watching Death Note, an anime series.

Thing is, I absolutely hated any kind of animated content for the greater part of my life.

Even though I’d watched and even enjoyed some content in my younger days, like the movies Brave, Inside Out, How To Train Your Dragon, and Big Hero 6, and shows like Ben 10 and He-Man.

But later, I completely stopped watching them, actively disliking anything animated. I don’t know what got into me. I’d find those cartoonish characters a real turn off. It got so much worse that I wouldn’t even watch TED’s animated educational videos!

Naturally, anime was a far cry for me.

But, over the years I’d get a lot of recommendations for shows to watch. One of them is Death Note, which I’ve begun watching the other day.

This show starts off with a bang! The premise of the show goes like this:

A book falls down from a weird alien land into the human world. If you write the name of a person in it, they’re sure to die instantly.

Naturally, it had to fall into the hands of this bored high school student.

He’s initially sceptical, but is now drunk with power and wants to become the God of this world!

One episode in, I’m hooked.

(No spoilers plz!)
