I finished my first playthrough of Hyper Light Drifter (I'm not sure why, but for some reason, I thought it was the Supergiant game Transistor, and was surprised to discover that it was something else).

Big thanks to Heart Machine for a compelling and stylistic adventure, and for #Linux support. I'm certain I'll be back to explore further and uncover more secrets.

@Cheeseness I stopped after it crashed on linux and I lost some progress (pretty early on). Should try again with Proton

@ori Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience of the Linux build.

There's definitely something about the east zone that seems to make crashes frequent. It crashed every hour or so for me, which ended up increasing my appreciation of the game since it meant I only played for about an hour at a time and could stop/reflect. As I progressed further into the game, that eventually stopped happening

Autosaves were frequent enough that I never lost any progress when I was playing.

@ori Not that crashes are ever good/acceptable. It just happened to coincidentally fit with the way I best experience these sorts of things (I'm not good at stopping/taking breaks when I'm into something)
