Yesterday we had the prerelease event for Lorcana's new set "Wilds Unknown". It's the 12th set, and it's the first time they actually have a special box for this, which our local game store owner is quite critical of (11 sets with no prerelease box what are they thinking?!). As sort of self appointed community managers, we've arranged our own events like Pack Rush, Sealed Draft or just box openings. Getting a special box with a little extra is much more fun than trying to come up with something the community will be excited about.
The event was very successful! Besides the usual players it brought players from cities far away, players who just started and players that have been too busy for Weekly Play made time to come.
Looking forward to the next prerelease.
