In a Wednesday blog post, Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins announced layoffs of 4,000 employees (5% staff) so that the company can spend more on AI and cybersecurity. He also touted Cisco's "record revenue" and "double-digit growth."

Robbins' total executive compensation is ~$52 million for 2025.

Don't know if i recall this correctly.

I read somewhere Musk, and it's very likely others already too, has started to massproduce androids in a converted Tesla factory.

If someone could confirm such an "information" i'd theorise those pushes for android developments combined with the insane spending to build datacenters would somehow make sense.

It's an arms race. A race for power relying on predictable tec instead of human capital.
