פְּרִי@serge I have a reMarkable II and love it, but really I don't have much hope for reMarkable because they've not diversified and both Kobo and Amazon are MUCH bigger coming into the same space. And, quite frankly, if I could get a kobo with the same notebook features + kobo's book ecosystem, I'd take that in a heartbeat... or maybe a paycheck?
ReMarkable has a new tablet, smaller, lighter, with no app store.
They claim it's what their customers want- a simpler, more simple device.
They might be right, but then just release the code, or the main code.
And yes, same with Kobo.
These niche devices could have a whole other life...
