@imthehumanoid All of the above!
@imthehumanoid MP3 player is probably the least used. But I still have one.

@imthehumanoid And actually, it's the simplest and most brilliant design. A Muvo 100. Basically a USB stick with a soundcard and a headphone jack, run by a single AAA battery. No ads, no upgrades... And still works many years later.

My Creative MuVo, 1GB is also still working

Also a San Disk Sansa Player. mine might need a new battery sometime soon, should be a reasonably easy DIY.
Sansa is even Extensible as it has a micro SD Card slot.

I had the Muvo Nomad. Back in the day I managed to squeeze days of Bach onto the device when Harvard Radio did it's annual 24/7 Bach binge and I recorded off-air. I really wish I could find that little thing.
Oh geesh. I hope you can find it. That sounds really cool! @ottomate

I still have a couple of Sansa Fuze players.
They support Rockbox, but the FLAC support in the stock ROM is good enough for me: gapless, and up to "CD quality" (16/44.1, not high-def).
