Who could have guessed that a Republican (Iraq) President would drag us into (Afghanistan) an endless war resulting in higher gas prices? I did Nazi that coming.

@georgetakei There's many things that I hate about all of this.

But chiefly, the fact that countries with competent leadership can take this uncertainty in the future of oil to springboard measures to move away from fossil fuels.

This is something that the United States could have lead the world with. Instead, the rest of the world is going to leave us in the oily dust.
