If you’ve got a SEGA Saturn, I would recommend looking into getting a Fenrir Duo. It lets you load games from an SD card and has better compatibility than SAROO

Fenrir

Fenrir - Home - Fenrir is a Sega Saturn drive emulator

@Oregon_Pacifist I don't have one (one of my great regrets in life) but if I ever get one, I'm planning to do this.
@JakobFel At least Saturn emulation is better than ever. With the right controller, you can have almost an identical experience.
@Oregon_Pacifist @PhillipPlays @JakobFel @RetroCozy i remember seeing this a few years back on #lgr and he did a video on this mod https://youtu.be/7d8xsBtxbHs

@Oregon_Pacifist wish I never sold my Saturn but it was 2020 and low income meant selling off some stuff . I long for the day when I can play Policenauts on real hardware
@captainarcee I should play Policenauts one day
@Oregon_Pacifist it's great! I played the PS1 version (emulated) years ago and got through the first disc. Didn't know how to switch discs on RetroPie so I never got to play the rest. I've also heard that the Saturn version isn't censored like the PS1 version so I've been wanting to see what's different
@captainarcee @Oregon_Pacifist nowadays with how expansive everything is getting, the economy seeming like its going into a depression and the fact that I dont have a lot of space anymore, retro game collecting is out of my reach now and I dont want it bad enough to where reteo emulation via retroarch has been how I get my retro gaming fix now and honestly I prefer that since I have all my games in one place with retro achievements and other things like mods and stuff
