I rewatched Greyhound (2020) recently and discovered they're making a sequel that started filming earlier this year.
It appears it's the same director and writer of the first one.
If you're not familiar with the movie, it came out during the pandemic, appearing on Apple TV. It has since been made available for purchase and streaming outside of Apple.
I was only able to watch #Greyhound after I bought a #FYC #DVD of the movie.
I suspect that that's the only way that I'll be able to watch Greyhound2 too. 🤷🏻♂️
It's not clear how Greyhound 2 wil lbe released. The first one was a Sony picture that was sold to Apple due to the pandemic. I remember reading that Apple had another picture they were planning to release theatrically, but they may need a partner, such as what they did with F1. Apple technically does not sell products outside of Apple stores, it's online store, or Apple Authorized Resellers. There has been speculation though that they were looking into becoming a theatrical movie distributor-- they're just not setup for it yet.
