Saturday, we were in #Minneapolis to see the exhibit #Art and Politics in #Germany 1918-1945 at the MIA, featuring incredible masterworks from Berlin's Neue Nationgalerie. It's powerful, and really shook me. The parallels between that period of German history and what we are seeing in the USA today in terms of attempts by state actors to bring the arts to heel, is unmistakable. Strongly recommend this exhibit, and Minneapolis is the place to see it.
