literally his whole shtick is just verbally abusing people who don't deserve it

#GordonRamsay

@vantablack I guess youve only seen stuff from 20 years ago.
He does very little of that anymore.

EDIT: I mean, Ive watched a LOT of his stuff. Was he abusive to people on a specific show? Once upon a time, yes, but it was also a window into how brigade kitchens actually were.
On all of his other shows besides Hells Kitchen hes actually quite nice, and even on that show hes way less abusive now.

The man has 17 Michelin stars. Yelling at people is hardly his whole schtick.

@vantablack If anything, the producers in those early days played up his yelling for ratings. He seemed quite embarrassed about it for a while.
Now he owns ALL of his content personally, and theres just way less of that.

@vantablack to the employees of restaurants that appear on his shows, the true nightmare in the kitchen is Gordon Ramsay's attitude and treatment of them

@ka_so @vantablack although real life here isn't quite as dramatic and bosses won't get away with treating staff like that (they will simply walk out, and/or sabotage the business) - restaurants/pubs all over England are closing as no-one wants to work in these industries because of the image that is put across of them of bullying bosses (it also an issue in skilled trades and automotive but is slowly getting better because the industries are losing so many staff they are reaching crisis points)
@vantablack yeah i fucking hate the guy

i can't stand the angry white guy genre especially when they explode at the slightest offense

@jiub @vantablack
