It appears that #Crunchyroll has lost the rights to #86EightySix, which means it's no longer available for streaming in certain territories, including the US.

It's possible that the show could get picked up by another distributor in the future, but we don't know that for sure.

The show is produced by Aniplex Japan, so Aniplex of America could be that distributor, and if that's the case, it'll almost certainly return to Crunchyroll for streaming, thanks to corporate synergy. The only thing that could change, in this scenario, is the accessibility (via price) of physical media for this show, if it even gets made at all.

If a non-Sony company ended up picking up the series, however, then both streaming AND physical media availability would change in some way.

One thing's for sure, though. The existing Blu-rays for 86 just became that much more valuable, so get them while you can.
