Probably decent people getting upset with what others kinda force them to experience. It can be annoying but it's part of being human. I think this is at the heart of our small vs big fedi and defederate for bad views and misinfo debate. People don't want to acknowledge it. It's why many demand content warnings. It's why my ask that we focus moderation on unwanted tagging isn't enough. They want groups with proper vetting of newbies, not social media.
