🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🗓️🚉 #ScotRail has confirmed timetable changes from Sunday 17 May 2026, with most additional services aimed at boosting weekend and leisure #travel. New and enhanced services include extra Saturday trains between #Glasgow Queen Street and Anniesland via Maryhill, a new Sunday evening Glasgow Central–Kilmarnock return, and a second hourly Sunday service on the Levenmouth Rail Link. Sunday services will also improve between Aberdeen and Montrose, Aberdeen and Inverurie, Ayr and Glasgow Central, and Edinburgh Waverley and Aberdeen. More electric trains will run on the East Kilbride line, while North Berwick and Helensburgh services will also be strengthened. Two late-night Borders line services will be temporarily withdrawn for electrification works. The 06.47 Kingussie–Inverness service will end due to low demand. ScotRail said fares will remain frozen until 2027.
