ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies - Features & Gameplay Trailer

“From the Disco Elysium creators” as a sticker on the thumbnail is almost commendable in its brazenness.

The writing I’ve seen has not been as good as Disco - to nobody’s surprise, I imagine - but then again I’ve only seen small bits and pieces of it. Mechanically I’ve heard some things that make me curious from a gameplay perspective, which in a way saddens me as I would prefer this game to not be good I think. Or be good but not bang the whole “from the creators of Disco Elysium” drum.

I am waiting for the reviews, but considering my huge backlog and the whole conflict around Disco Elysium, I am not getting this one (perhaps in a couple of years).
I might pirate it if it’s good. One of the things I am very curious about is an expanded and more interactive/complex Thought Cabinet, which is apparently implemented in this game. At least from what I’ve heard. And that was something I missed in Disco, it was actually a scrapped but planned feature that had to be cut down. Robert Kurvitz talked about it in some interviews around the time of release: thought combinations and interactions of you place thoughts next to each other and stuff like that.
