Ok, Fediverse experiment. I am currently walking the Camino de Santiago. Is anyone else? Would be fun to meet up if itineraries allow.

One of the oldest parts of the Via Turonensis runs near where I live, and the more popular route is not far away. An enthusiast who made the pilgrimage several times wrote a book about it and gave illustrated lectures in full costume. It's not usually a solo thing: walking with other pilgrims and meeting people in the overnight accommodation (for which you must be a registered pilgrim) is an important part. It's considered a spiritual experience rather than religious.
