My husband, George X. Hale, & I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary one month before he died. Our daughter, Alice, died four years earlier, a week before her 30th birthday, of #SUDEP - Sudden Unexpected Death in EPilepsy.
Now I live in Seattle. I moved here to be near my son, but it costs a lot to get together. Ferries aren't cheap
Still, it's good to be where I can see my son without one of us having to drive across mountain passes, etc. He is visiting me next Wednesday!
