I started learning #crochet and I made ... a shape I guess 😂.
I saw some really awesome creations and I'd like to have a manual hobby so I thought I'd give it a try.
I am still bad at it but it has been fun even to just practice the stitches (I think my current problem is holding and tension of the working yarn).
Next time I'll try to practice a different stitch I think.
Further #crochet attempts have been made!
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions ❤️. The second attempt at a double stitch* square went a lot better because of them.
Attempts at treble stitch* and double treble stitch* squares were also made to learn those stitches too.
I still have a long way to go to improve the consistency of the stitches but I found crochet immediately fun (and only rarely frustrating).
*UK stitch names (at least that is the attempt)
Also the book that pushed me to really start crochet arrived today!
Some of the patterns look complicated and obviously it will be a while before I can make them well but they do look amazing and I'm looking forward to trying them.
