Democrats across the country are pissed off and tired of the moderate centrists who control the Party.

There is an effort on the national level by the Democratic National Committee to silence and distance themselves from those candidates who do not identify as moderate.

Excellent essay. Have been trying to understand the coalitions within the Democratic Party, as it seems a power struggle is building between true Progressive Democrats and Big Money Democrats. It seems that the DNC and both The Bench and Majority Democrats are firmly on the Big Money side. Is this how you see it? Is there any comparable coalition on the progressive side?

You want it handed to you on cable ads? You want a flashy banquet instead of a bake sale? You want included in high society instead of everyone putting pants on one leg at a time? You think your shit don't stink like the billionaires? What are you doing talking down to people for people?
