Hey #ArcRaiders folks: Have you expeditioned before? Will you do the current one? Why/not all that stuff?

I did the first two, but I'm sitting this one out. My luck with finding BPs is dogshit in this game, for whatever reason (my tinfoil hat theory: Because I'm a PvE care bear).

Maybe I kinda cheated with the first two since I have a friend who hung onto a handful of BPs for me using a parent's account.

I want to get more into the role playing and goofy stuff in this game. I saw a clip the other day of someone who placed 5 of the new white flags on a tick outside the Riven hotel. That's hilarious.

Maybe I'll stick a bunch to a Rocketeer. I wanna play more in the sandbox this time around, rather than chasing everything all over again. But that's just me.

@InfiniteHench im doing the expedition for the first time... Gonna be sad to lose all my stuff! But worth it for the extra points? Love this game so much (except for the dirty rats 🤬)

@DrNic Extra points, 12 more stash slots, and boosts to material collection and crafting. I have 304 stash slots now after doing two expeditions! It's great.

@DrNic Also if you have a friend you trust to give some BPs to, I recommend it. Heck, I'd be willing to do it for you (though I get I'm an internet stranger).

Your friend just needs to be willing to give them back to you. 😈

@InfiniteHench I had the opposite inclination. I started playing in mid Feb, so the last expo seemed too soon for me. I barely reached 75 before it.

Also I simply didn't understand the mechanic FWIW.

Now I'm excited to do my first one, even though I'm out of town this week and will only get 3 skill points. I liked that paying stage 5 gave me a reason to get rid of junk and free up stash space.

But mostly I'm just excited to start over fresh, which is what prestiging is really about. Like re-rolling or seasons in Diablo, you get that feeling of "SWEET! A rusted medical kit!"

@audiodude If they follow the pattern from the last two expeditions, you can 'catch up' on the points you didn't earn this time on the next one. If that helps.
