The plan was to photograph a specific cherry tree yesterday but, like always, I got distracted. This time it was two white wagtails chasing insects at a brook. I ended up squatting on the bank with my camera for quite a while until my knees were ready to throw the towel in. It was difficult to photograph the nimble birds, and I think this is the best photo I got. Then I wandered into an allotment garden....

I did get to the cherry tree eventually.
