I was expecting #Labour to perform badly this #LocalElections but I didn't expect all the votes to go to #Reform!

I'm guessing voter apathy caused a lot of these #Reform gains. People fed up with #Labour and the Tories but not finding independents or the Greens enticing.

#GreenParty

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me if the #Reform wins were partly from a rise in popularity for Reform, but also Labour and Tory voters not bothering to vote. Those parties have shown they are useless and hate the electorate. So a large number of people who could keep Reform out aren't bothering to vote to keep them out.

I guess these would be a moderate crowd who want to keep centre and aren't inspired by the more left or right leaning parties.

I'll have to look at the voting numbers to see if this is the case.

If I'm right then I was completely wrong for not wanting #Corbyn to lead #YourParty.

His mild mannered social-democratic style might be just what the country needs to get voters back out voting.

There would still be all the smears from the billionaire media to contend with though.

@wilfridl I supported my local green candidate outside the polling station yesterday. The turn out was immense. Not apathy but sadly lots of vocal support for the Reform candidate.

@johnhenrythe3rd No, I mean apathy towards Labour and Tories. People not voting for the party they would like to vote for, so not voting at all.

I don't know this. But it wouldn't surprise me if the results show that.

@wilfridl We came third. Tories first with Reform second. 41% turnout.
