If there's one thing I cannot stand, it's someone who thinks they are clever when, in fact, my dog has more intelligence than they do.

If you're going to attempt a cunning plan, make sure the person you're trying to get one over on doesn't have the nous to speak to the person your whole subdifuge depends on. There's nothing worse than when two stories don't match!
