It's true. I recently joined a Faircamp webring.
I still own most of the URLs I've ever had. Sure. I could get them going again. I'm hosting this mastodon instance, a PeerTube instance, a Faircamp instance, and an occasional jitsi-meet instance. Why not add a few old school websites?
I should buy one URL back. Nobody else would.
A dude who was in QA at Apple when I coded there probably owns 10,000 URLs by now. He was buying everything he could think of. I should have listened to his investment advice.
