thanks for showing this movie, @analgesicsleep, I've had it playing in the back ground while taking care of paperwork etc. But Im glad to be aware of it (and the TV series) bc I've spent time in Indonesia and am always excited to find Indonesian movies. This is the first Indonesian-American family drama I've encountered -- reminds me of my Indo friends who've moved here #muscoment

Glad you’ve enjoyed it @samsagreg. I spent a about 24hrs in Jakarta back in 2010 getting a crash course in the Punk & Metal scenes from the band Saturday Night Karaoke for a European music magazine

@analgesicsleep omg that sounds fun! Im gonna rewatch this when I can focus more, esp the beginning. And I want to ask my Indo friends about it. I lived there in high school and later one of my Indo. friends married an American and moved to Minnesota--the protagonist reminds me of her kids. #muscoment
