Are we supposed to believe that fate brought Mechuri in Da Hye-jin's neighborhood? In a megalopoli like Seoul with 10 million inhabitants?
I'm not a big fan of the stalker/saviour romantic trope. He knows everything about her: where she lives, because he magically found her in Seoul, her medical condition, het mommy issues... And she knows absolutely nothing about him.
Also this is a trope that works only if the male lead is extremely hot, like in this case with Ah Hyo-seop.
2nd couple looks promising though! The guy lifting the car with his bare hands made me laugh π!
Nya@drnya91 I assume that we will find out that Mechuri had a similar experience with sleeping pills. I bet a dear friend and colleague betrayed him. And he probably doesn't have any parents because he was adopted in the US but then the family had a biological kid and ditched him. [Standard #kDrama backstory]
@s1m0n4 I made the supposition that we will soon discover they share the same trauma. He was doing cosmetics before and failed because it was hurting people (that's why he is so reluctant to go back on their own with his partner), and she was selling it. But just a supposition.

So far I've only watched Dr Romantic 2 with him and I've heard his beautiful voice in K-pop Demon Hunters.

For most folks who love romance, it was a popular choice. I find most straight romances pretty boring. There needs to be something more that grabs me, like a great location or wardrobe, a fascinating occupation, or something like that. I'm watching some of the oldies, and they're pretty hilarious in a lot of ways.

Plus the bonus of learning the Korean word for quail, which I will now never forget! lol
